Linda Sue Heidner

The Homegoing Celebration for Linda Sue Heidner will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2020 in the Forest Hill United Pentecostal Church with Reverends Ken Gibson and David Ducote officiating. Committal service will follow in the Butter Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Linda, 66, of Forest Hill, passed from this life on Sunday, June 7, 2020 in her residence. She was born December 25, 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the union of Tommy Boykin and Martha Wilson Boykin. She was an avid reader, reading at least 4 books a week. Needlepoint and sewing were a couple of her hobbies. For 32 years, Linda worked as an oral surgeon’s dental assistant and 3 years as a dental assistant. She was one of the top 20 models in Louisiana. Linda was also a pink lady!

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her husband of 44 years, Reverend Gregory J. Heidner of Forest Hill; one son, Jeremiah Heidner of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Brelinn Heidner of Oakdale; two sisters, Debbie Young of DeRidder and Joyce Williams of Elizabeth; one brother, Lloyd Fountain of Oak Grove; along with a host of family and friends.

Linda was passionate in her love for God and others; her life impacted so many people from different walks of life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all who knew her.

Linda was a faithful servant of the Lord who served in various ministry capacities throughout her life. She served as the United Pentecostal Church International Ladies Auxiliary leader for her section and Sunday School teacher.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Forest Hill Pentecostal Church.

You are loved my sister we will meet again  one day. I love you
